Shari K. worked with us to keep our project within our budget, and her final design was spot on for our space. The bed unit includes a pull-down night stand, shelves, and storage cabinet on one side, while the desk has plenty of cabinets both above and below the work surface. My experience with Valet was absolutely stellar!!! The designer I worked with was Gia. Our project involved converting a study into a guest room by installing a Murphy bed / wall bed.
Gia was right on time for our in- home consultation and she provided a great deal of advice based on her years of experience and similar projects. Initially, I wasn't even sure about the right color. Gia's advice ranged from color to features and down to the hardware to complement our decor.
Later, Gia and I had a phone call and Gia shared her desktop as she finalized the design and sent it over for sign off. Way cool.
The install was flawless (and neat/ cleaned up afterwards). The wall unit is perfect, when you open the cabinet doors they feel solid. The baseboard molding was cut absolutely perfectly where it joins the molding for the room. The installer is a craftsman and it shows.
After I got the bed made up, I decided to give it a test run. I loved that the bed came with a high quality mattress. I took a late afternoon nap (as soon as the installer left). The bed was sooooo comfy that I didn't want to get up. Our guests have raved about the mattress quality, comfort and beauty of our our guest bed and wall unit.
The unit includes everything a guest could want; hanging storage, storage area for comforter and pillows, drawer storage, a small bedside table ( with outlets for electronics in the back) and overhead lights with a conveniently located switch and space for artwork that is hidden until you open the bed. They thought of everything.
When we priced out wall beds, there were less expensive options than Valet. As I looked through Yelp reviews, I quickly ruled them out. Thank you Valet for a job well done!
I would not hesitate to recommend Valet. In addition, we have additional projects coming up and we are already planning to use Valet!!

Valet did a great job on the closet in our master bedroom. It wasn't a straight forward design since the closet has a weird corner on the inside, but Shari took time to ask us lots of questions and create a design that works for us. Valet had great attention to detail that I didn't find in the other businesses who gave us quotes. The final product gives us a ton more space, is very functional and looks great. Valet is super responsive with emails/calls and Kristi also helped to schedule us at a time that worked for us. Installers did a great, clean job. I thought pricing would come out higher than the others but it actually came out the same if not a bit cheaper.
I highly recommend Valet and am 100% satisfied with our new closet!

Valet recently installed a major set of built-ins in our second bedroom/home office. The installation included a Murphy bed, computer desk space, lots of storage drawers and cabinets, and a neat pull-out table. The price was less than we planned and value was far higher than anticipated. The ordering was painless and the scheduling was done well in advance. The installation crew was on time and worked diligently for two days and left us with a perfect install and a clean an undamaged room. Gia has been such a great sales rep and designer for our project! She monitored everything and provided follow-up several times to ensure that we were happy with every detail. In reorganizing our three bedroom home to welcome our first child, we quickly realized we needed to maximize space. We have overnight guests about 30 nights a year and didn't want a whole room wasted on just a bed. Yet, we didn't want to sacrifice design for function. Enter Valet!
After an on line query, their skilled Designer Gia followed up the next day to schedule an in-home appointment. She drafted a schematic plan based on our room's measurements and feature requirements (i.e. electrical, built in lighting, nightstands, storage etc). She then hosted an on line meeting so we could provide real-time feedback during our busy workdays and keep the process moving. We were most surprised with their modern selection of materials given our mid-century/eclectic design aesthetic. We truly thought all wall bed units had to be clunky and traditional..we were wrong.
Four weeks later a small crew showed up on time to install our new custom wall bed. They just quietly got in and got it done, and fast. And I swear they left the room cleaner than they found it. We got home from work and spent 30 minutes just admiring their handy work and our genius decision. Not only does this room standout among the others, but we know it adds resell value to our home.
Valet's process was truly seamless and swift...from design, to payment, to install. We have several other custom build projects we're considering, and it will be a no brainer to use Valet again.

Valet did a simply outstanding job on our garage cabinets!
First designer, Mark Olson, came to our home and took precise measurements then spoke to my husband and I about what we wanted. I'm sure it was a bit like family counseling for Mark Olson. He had to meet all our needs.
My husband needed extra wide cabinets for a telescope, tool drawers, a work surface, and special outlets for sprinkler and outdoor lighting controls. Our son needed a dedicated sports equipment cabinet. Our daughter needed a place for art supplies and crafts with pull out shelves. I required shallow cabinets for food stored and deep shelves for holiday decor and canning equipment. And we course we required storage for all the things one usually puts in a garage. Plus we wanted it to be beautiful so the room could be used as a bonus room for kids parties and playtime.
Boy did Mark Olson and Valet Closets get it right. Our garage is the envy of everyone on the block. People have actually stopped by to say how much they admire it and ask who did it. It always looks so clean with everything in its proper place behind nice white cupboard doors. Valet even referred us to a crew who could epoxy the floor giving it a durable enhanced finish.
The quality of their product is outstanding, thick shelves I know will never bow under the weight of what we stack on them. The workmanship is impeccable, seamless joints. The installers were clearly well skilled and experienced. The entire operation from design though contract, scheduling, installation and payment was professional. My husband and I are meticulous people who demand prompt professional service. Valet did not disappoint.
The Valet cabinets in our garage add great value to our home. It was well worth the price to have Mark Olson design the perfect solution to our storage needs.

I worked with Valet to turn our spare bedroom into a multi-function room: a bedroom, office and crafting room. It was a challenging design not only because of all the functionality that I wanted but also because the room has four doors and several windows to deal with. Nevertheless, we were able to get the queen sized murphy bed, two desk/office areas, a smaller desk area that we consider the 'homework station' as well as a small crafting area that utilizes their tilt-down table for cutting/crafting. I've used their products before at a different house to put in a sewing area so I already know that they have an excellent product which will last forever and it looks beautiful and is extremely functional. What I like about this business is that they really do work hard to come up with a design that not only meets all of your needs but that also looks beautiful in your room. I've looked at other closet/cabinet companies and nobody has the same breadth of features and engineering experience as Valet. And I love that everything is fabricated locally and by their own installers!
