Larry is a graduate of the University of Southern California School Of Business. After receiving his degree he returned to the Bay Area and spent 18 years working in his family’s 100 + year old metals recycling business. Upon the sale of that business in 2000, Larry and his wife Audrey purchased Valet. Larry has become a leader in the industry and is a past president of the National Closet Group. Larry loves turning people’s dreams into reality, and remains as enthusiastic about the business today as he was when he first acquired it. Frank joined our team in 2005 with Valet’s acquisition of Eurodesign where he had spent the previous 23 years. With his combined 30 + years of industry experience, Frank has a knowledge base second to none. He adds to that a keen attention to detail and commitment to quality that sets an example for us all. Frank and his wife Daryl have four children and when not with them he can be found mountain biking in the Santa Cruz Mountains.
Scott has been a member of the Valet Team since January 2014. He is a graduate of the University of Redlands with a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration and an emphasis in Finance. Scott’s strong analytic skills coupled with his background in computer science and mathematics make him a perfect fit for handling the pre-production engineering of job packets and cabinet drawings that turn Valet designs into reality. Scott is an avid baseball fan and still plays quite often. He is a real team player at Valet and says that he enjoys the people that he works closely with day in and day out.
Michelle Larsen joined the Valet Team in the summer of 2016. She specializes in accounting, human resources, and general administration and comes to us with over 20 years experience in those fields. She has been a general ledger accountant at a CPA firm and a business manager at a family law firm. As to be expected from someone in her position, she has a passion for people and numbers and loves “making order out of chaos.”
Michelle and her husband, Brian, live in San Jose. They have a big, happy blended family with eight children and three grandchildren. She enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time in the outdoors. She is also a big San Francisco Giants fan!
Since 1997, Leslie worked as an accountant in the construction industry, from landscape construction, to drywall, to stucco manufacturing. Leslie is proud to be part of a company that “produces a superior product” and she is happy to be a part of the process that not only supports the customer, but the team as well.
Outside of work, Leslie is passionate about her ministry and helping to spread kindness. She hopes to one day open a group home for victims of human trafficking. She is the mother of three sons and loves to dote on her her two amazing grandchildren.
Mandi joined the Valet team in September 2016. She came to us with 15 years’ experience in the construction industry. Around 2000, she started working at an interior design firm where, along with her business management role, she also took on the Computer-Aided Design operation responsibilities and discovered that she had a real passion for CAD. “I love to solve puzzles,” says Mandi. “I love finding answers and making things work. This position offers me the challenges to solve puzzles and find answers and that excites me!“ Outside of work, Mandi is a musician and sings in a Top 40 cover band. She lives in San Jose with her wife and she loves spending time with her three grown sons and her granddaughter.
Robert has been a designer for over 20 years and has been with Valet since 2003. He is a 1983 graduate of the Academy of the Republic Belarus, and immigrated to the United States in 1989. Robert’s interests include swimming, skiing, backpacking and international travel. His customers love his design process and ability to help them visualize the best and most elegant use of their space.Read more about Robert here
Mark’s 12 + years of design experience with Valet together with a 17 year background in the home improvement trades gives him a wealth of knowledge that is rarely seen. Mark and his wife Sandie have been married since 1979 and reside in San Jose with their son. Mark’s interest included racquetball, skiing and golf. He also enjoys spending time on the Monterey Peninsula. Both homeowners and contractors value his complete understanding of all aspects of construction.View Mark's Houzz Page.
Jerry has been a Valet designer for 11 + years. Prior to joining Valet in 2001, Jerry spent 4 years designing and selling closet systems to developers of new home communities. Jerry and his wife Sam have been married since 1978. They enjoy traveling and have lived in Hawaii. Jerry works out of our Danville showroom and services our customers in the East Bay. Karin joined Valet in 2010 and brings a unique combination of marketing and design experience to our team. Karin graduated from UCLA and enjoyed a successful career as a sales and marketing executive. She later earned an interior design degree to pursue her creative inclinations and passion for space planning. Karin excels at listening to customers and understanding their needs. She grew up on the peninsula, loves to travel, ski and spend time with her husband and two teenagers.
Shari has 18 years experience in the fields of Interior Design, Space Planning and Architecture. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from UC Berkeley and joined our Valet team in 2010. Shari enjoys hiking, skiing, and spending time with her family. Her customers love her enthusiasm and personal approach as she translates their needs into a beautiful and functional design.Read more about Shari here
Ward entered the custom cabinet business in 1984 when he joined his father at Eurodesign. After selling Eurodesign to Valet in 2005, Ward joined the Valet team as Manager of Engineering and Product Development. Today, he continues to provide support in these areas while also contributing as a valuable member of our design team. Ward and his wife Nancy are longtime residents of Los Altos. Ward enjoys meeting with customers bringing 25 + years of design and engineering expertise to his work.
Chris joined the Valet team in July 2015 bringing with him nine years of closet and cabinetry design experience. Chris has also worked both as an ocean lifeguard, and a firefighter and emergency tech. Chris is a founding volunteer of The ABRITE Children’s Foundation, which organizes charity events to benefit children with Autism. When not working Chris enjoys going to the gym, surfing, and spending time with his wife and son. Chris loves working at Valet because “I get to meet interesting people and face unique challengers every day, but the best part is being able to find a solution for my client and see them smiling in the end.”
Marina joins Valet Custom from a high-tech career in 3D CAD architecture program sales and development. With background in architecture, interior design and professional organizing, Marina brings a unique approach to the design process for custom cabinets and closets. Because she focuses on creating systems for the perfect use of space, her designs are planned and executed for each client to allow them to invest in the immediate function of the room, as well as planning for the space into the future. When she is not helping her clients get and stay organized, Marina enjoys gardening and community projects as well as playing at the beach with her husband and sons.
Joining Valet in early 2018, Cynthia enjoys working closely with each customer to design individual and elegant organizational solutions that maximize room space and functionality while also adding her personal eye for beauty and style. Past experience includes the design and installation of commercial telecommunication systems, sales operations, and event planning. Cynthia holds a bachelor's degree in speech communication from San Diego State University. For the past 20+ years, she has loved living in Danville with her husband, Tom, and raising their two children.
