Quality Shouldn't Be Rushed

    

If you are looking for custom cabinetry or custom closets for your home, you have probably done some research. You will be making an investment of your time and money, and through your home improvement project, you will both be enhancing your home life, as well as increasing the value of your home. Factors that may be part of your decision making process include design (both functionality and aesthetics), pricing, quality of the product and lead times. The economy seems to be getting back on track, and that is good for everyone. During these busy times, consumers should expect high quality products, excellent customer service and competitive prices. When dealing with businesses that offer all of these things, you may also find that you then have to deal with a little bit of a wait before you can get your product or start a project, and this is a good thing! Companies with stellar reputations are almost always worth the wait!

Beware of small businesses that tout a highly custom or personalized product or service that they can deliver immediately. Are they taking the time to truly discover their client’s needs? Is there no wait time because they are really offering a low quality product and no one else is buying? Are they rushing through jobs and therefore not giving each customer the proper care and attention that each project deserves? Reputable businesses will probably have a small wait time for personalized services, and that is okay, as it means that each customer is being taken care of, and all details are being seen to, and the business is working within their limits.

Think about the restaurant industry. If you are just looking for a quick meal, you probably won’t plan ahead. If you know that you want something a little higher caliber, you may make a reservation that day or a day in advance. However, if you are planning a special evening at a popular high-end restaurant, you would never expect to get a table at the last minute, so you plan ahead and make your reservation well in advance, whether that be weeks or months before the night in question.
